Will the NABCA April 2026 monthly data report show mezcal growing faster (year-over-year volume) than tequila in control states?
Mezcal has outpaced tequila on a percentage basis in select windows. The April 2026 monthly report will tell us whether the gap held or whether tequila reclaimed the growth crown.

Resolution criteria
Resolves YES if the NABCA April 2026 monthly data report shows year-over-year volume growth percentage for mezcal exceeds the year-over-year volume growth percentage for tequila in control state markets. Resolves NO if tequila grows faster, or if mezcal does not grow.
